Released in 1994, the Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 5000F is a rare and highly celebrated timepiece, part of a limited edition of just 100 watches created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Patek Philippe’s esteemed retailer, Hausmann & Co., in Rome.

Founded in 1794 by German clockmaker Ernst Hausmann and his partner Hermann Frielingsdorf, Hausmann & Co. continues to be a key player in the heart of Rome, representing some of the world’s most prestigious watch and clock manufacturers.

This cool piece features an enamel dial adorned with applied pink gold applied Breguet numerals, an outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial positioned at 4 o’clock. Beyond its clean, classic aesthetic, the watch boasts self-winding and water-resistant properties. The screw-down case back is engraved with the inscription “1794 - Roma - 1994 Hausmann & Co” , marking the special anniversary !

The watch is complemented by a slightly worn but charming Patek Philippe leather strap and an original 18k gold Patek Calatrava Cross folding clasp.

At its heart lies the beautiful Caliber 240 PS automatic movement, complete with a 22k gold rotor, that has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
