Our smooth calfskin leather in rich Chocolate shade is sourced from Tanneries HAAS. The famous Novonappa is double tanned for its deep, luscious finish and will patina beautifully over time.
Compared to semi aniline leather such as Baranil or the popular grained leather such as Epsom or Saffiano, Novonappa is less resistant to abuse, however none of whom is known to patina well over time. The Novonappa is also able to heal minor scratches over time and is a clever balance of supple and firm, ideal for watch straps.
The strap is fully stitched with off white M30 linen thread then edge painted with matching colour for extra sealing and protection. There is no breaking in required on this strap, it is soft and contours the wrist well from day one. The inner lining is made from smooth Zermatt leather from Tanneries HAAS in France, the same type of lining commonly found in Hermès bags.
